Welcome to The JoJo Tree

I've always been drawn to distressed, urban textures.  As a kid growing up in 70's East Harlem (Manhattan, NY) there were burned‑out and abandoned apartment buildings all over the neighborhood. The local artists took advantage of that empty space and completely covered these buildings with street art & graffiti.  

I like to create the images and textures that remind me of the types of things I saw exploring those buildings. I also like making experimental music & videos which I post here as well. 

As a multimedia artist & web designer, I use this website as a sort of "underground" gallery for you - and a place to share for me.  I admittedly don't use much social media. The freedom and level of design control personal websites offer over social-media pages is unmatched  - and with no intrusive ads or algorithms to bother you.  I hope you enjoy your visit to the tree and thanks for stopping by.
